Do you want to be a part of a vibrant and creative collective of regional artists from western Massachusetts and southern Vermont? The Shelburne Arts Cooperative in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts is currently accepting new working members. The Shelburne Arts Cooperative has been in operation since 1998. We are member owned and operated. We have a Board of Directors who coordinate and manage the gallery and a larger group of working members who help run the gallery on a day-to-day basis. Members are encouraged to attend monthly meetings where planning, updates and jurying are discussed.
Working members receive 70% of the sale of their work and are responsible for working 12 hours a month in the Gallery and/or on a committee. Members tag their own work and are responsible for keeping track of their inventory in the Gallery.
Currently, annual dues for working members of the cooperative are $35.
If you are interested in joining our cooperative, jurying takes place at our monthly meetings the first Tuesday of each month. Prior to the meeting you will need to submit 4-5 samples of your work and complete a form available at the Co-op. You will need to provide a description of your work, retail pricing for each item submitted, and a $5 jury fee.
